What's in it for me? A question we ask ourselves and the others each time we want to undergo a new endeavor! We start our careers and grow with the help of senior colleagues; those who walked the path and paved the way for us. The more years we cover, the wiser and more knowledgeable we get. Back in 2010, I got introduced to PMI and today I am one of the leading 2500 PgMP holders worldwide. From the first day until this minute, PMI has been a knowledge hub for me. 50 years of trial and errors, recommendations, standardization of concepts, ups and downs have made PMI a leading association for the project management profession. Now to answer the question what’s in it for me? PMI has been for the past 10 years a mentor and a leader to me! Through 50 years of experience leading the way, PMI has paved the path for project, program and portfolio management professionals and is continuing to do so. Its accreditation is global and highly regarded by industries. A semi-centennial association carves the experience of its members on the doorways to a successful future. Cheers to the years to come!
