Being PMP is a proud moment in any professional's life. Its not just a simple certification which anyone can get by studying and appearing in the exam, but its a mindset, a complete shift from conventional to a structured professional approach that you earned by hardship and compassion. Not everyone experiences the same situation in profession after becoming PMP or any other PMI certification, because organizations are not mature enough to accommodate changes as a result of adopting non traditional best practices of Projects Management as guided by PMI. In my humble opinion a chapter to transform Organizational Management must be added to the PMBOK, so the PMs while addressing projects issues and challenges shall not forget Management's engagement and can apply techniques to fully involve and get buy-in of the management for the greater success of the projects.
