Without PMI, my way personal and professional career would look different. When I started to work as a project manager, PMI helped me to better understand what makes up my profession and where to focus on. As a consultant I had the chance to grow and foster my knowledge and to exchange experiences with other members and to apply what I have learned. In my role as a PMI chapter board member, I could help to spread my insights and to gain experience in leadership. By supportimg the PMBOK translation review, I had the opportunity to discuss and exchange views and insights with other experts in depth. And, last but not least, as the winner of the PMI® Continuing Professional Education Product of the Year 2017, PMI honored my contribution, although I had to honor them.
