My relation with PMI began 2011 in pursuit of project management certificate, but now, my relation with PMI is much more, for me, PMI is the home of project managers, and the ultimate reference to know project management standards and how they should be applied. Despite of cultural, location and business domain differences, we’re all gathered under PMI umbrella, following its code of ethics, acknowledging PMI positive impact on our careers as project managers. With the growing number of PMI certified members every year, PMI certificates became prerequisite and mandatory requirement for many organizations who seek skilled project managers, as it became an acknowledged proof of how a good project manager should be. PMI is always keen to ensure project managers are up to date with new trending technologies and biggest challenges in project management world and how to overcome them, through enabling project managers to attend PMI events and expos, which also enabled us to get connected to our colleagues from all over the world, allowing us to discuss our issues and share our experiences, we now one big family of project managers. We’re celebrating five decades of success and achievements, happy 50th anniversary PMI!
